GAIA (Original Motion Picture Score) by The Angel lands in digital stores on December 20th, 2024. The arthouse film is a recipient of numerous film festival accolades with The Angel’s thematic score underlining the emotional journey of a young woman in crisis. Abandoned in the Arizona desert to face her demons, Emily is taken in by a Native American community where she must confront her past in order to build a new life.

“It was a unique experience to define the musical voice of this film because the score plays a lead character in many scenes. With very little dialogue in the film, I found myself delicately blending my score to work under the most subtle of natural desert sounds, yet also creating score to play front and center as the musical dialogue needed to carry poignant, evocative and emotional scenes. Director, Jason Lehel was able to take his unorthodox visual storytelling and execute it in such a powerful and impactful way, an impressive feat… and one of many reasons why I felt compelled to work on this moving project.” ~ The Angel.

Available December 20th for streaming or download on all music services including Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes, Tidal, Amazon, Deezer.
