Gridlock’d contains additional score by The Angel

Directed by Vondie Curtis-Hall, the 1997 film starred Tupac, Tim Roth and Thandie Newton. The production also licensed Angel’s remix of Donald Byrd’s “Kofi” for inclusion in the film. The remix was released by Blue Note Records on an album called “New Groove: The Blue Note Remix Project Volume 1.”
