HEIST 88 (Original Motion Picture Score) by The Angel, is set for November 1, 2024 release. Here’s what The Angel has to say about her driving, thematic electronic score for the NAACP Image Award Nominated, Showtime Original Film, HEIST 88, starring Courtney B Vance, streaming on Paramount+ with Showtime and more.

“We are often in the head of our criminal mastermind played by Courtney B Vance, as he orchestrates a perpetual game of three dimensional chess… so at times, it almost felt like I was one of the pieces on his board, making my sonic moves to match his intriguing, cunning moves… Given the backdrop of the ’88 Chicago house music scene, director Menhaj Huda had me infuse some 80s club sounds into my score for the four young protagonists, who are baited into robbing the First National Bank of Chicago. And that’s just what I did in many a late night session at 120 BPM.” ~ The Angel
