Production Work

Besides producing all her own score and records, Angel has worked with many artists to help them realize their vision.

Monday Michiru

'Double Image' marks another collaboration between The Angel and the Japanese jazz producer and vocalist. Angel produced the tracks 'Method To Tha Madness' and 'Damned If U Do, Damned If You Don’t' for this album. Monday has appeared on Angel’s albums and Angel has remixed a track for Monday. As a talented producer in her own right, Monday has recorded and released numerous albums in her native Japan.

Jacky Terrasson

'Mixed Feelings (The New Groove).' Although 'The New Groove: The Blue Note Remix Project Volume 1' was conceived as a remix album, at the last minute Angel was asked by Blue Note to produce the new track on the record. Angel brought in Gift Of Gab from Blackalicious to handle the vocals on the track written by Gab, Jacky and The Angel. The album was released in 1997.

Tre Hardson

'Liberation' includes the track, 'Get Ya Down' produced by The Angel. Released in 2002 Angel first met Tre Hardson, aka Slim Kid Tre of The Pharcyde, when they were label mates. Angel was asked to remix the track 'Otha Fish' which featured Tre on vocals. Tre has collaborated with Angel on a number of tracks on Angel's albums.

Navigator

London MC, Navigator, has been collaborating with The Angel on her albums and singles for a number of years. Angel produced the single, 'Vibesbringer,' that shows Navigators unique vocal style in combination with Angel’s cutting edge production skills.

Mystic

The first full-length by Mystic, 'Cuts For Luck and Scars For Freedom,' features a number of tracks produced by The Angel. Released in July 2001, the album title is taken from the song 'OK…Alright' produced by The Angel and first released on the 1998 hip hop compilation 'Rules Of The Game'. Angel first worked with Mystic in 1996 when she brought Mystic in to vocal her remix of Donald Byrd’s 'Kofi' for the Blue Note Records album, 'The New Groove'
