03 Oct 2025 “Velvet Vision” and “Pink Narcissus” Reeling Film Festival First Ever Double Feature

Thank you to Reeling 2025 for curating the first ever double bill screening of “Velvet Vision: The Story of James Bidgood and the Making of Pink Narcissus” followed by UCLA’s newly restored 1971 gay fantasia, “Pink Narcissus.” Director Bart Everly was honored to introduce Jim’s legendary arthouse masterpiece following the Velvet Vision Q&A moderated by Gerber/Hart’s James Conley. Shout Outs to Robin Woitesek (Reeling Festival manager and program coordinator of Chicago Filmmakers) and Chicago Filmmakers executive director Brenda Webb for making all of this possible.
